The ABB FieldKey adds wireless to any 4-20mA HART instrument, allowing remote access to process, maintenance and configuration information which had been previously locked away. The FieldKey can be quickly and easily added, point by point, allowing you to take full advantage of the features the instruments provide. Simply connect via a spare cable entry gland, then wire into the loop and FieldKey is ready to join a WirelessHART network. The FieldKey is one component of the ABB wireless adapter solution.
