HMI has supplied and implemented a new telemetry/supervision system of the potable water infrastructures of EMAE in S. Tomé and Príncipe, within the scope of the Macromedição MAIIS2 project (Melhoria no Abastecimento de Água, Infraestruturas e Sensibilização da População de STP) led by Águas de Portugal Internacional.

The AquaMaster4 flowmeters with ReducedBore sensor were the perfect solution to the oversized ducts problem and also the fact that they work with lithium batteries has allowed them to be installed in remote areas without access to the electrical network.

The aquisition of data and respective transmission was made using our M853  datalogger and as a telemetry/supervision system we have implemented the SCADA Zenon system from ABB.
