MagWave Dual Chamber Level System

The MagWave is a level measurement system which combines a highly visible magnetic level indication with an output from a Guided Wave Radar Transmitter. The MagWave features two separate close-coupled chambers for the level indicator float and the Guided Wave Radar antenna. Using single probe radar transmitters in the standard 1-1/2 inch chamber provides the measurement capabilities of coaxial style probes without the potential for fouling due to buildup. The separate float chamber allows the float to travel unobstructed throughout the range of measurement. Redundant level control can be achieved by adding a magnetostrictive transmitter or switches to the float chamber. LMG100 Econolev Magnetic Level Gauge

The K-TEK MS40 electric switch is a magnetically actuated double pole double throw switch. When the MS40 is mounted on a KM26 Magnetic liquid level indicator, LS Series Cage Level switch or an External Chamber that con-tains a K-TEK magnetic float, it can sense high or low levels within a vessel. The unique magnetic coupling action eliminates the need for such things such as seals, diaphragms , springs, or torque tubes because there is no physi-cal contact with the process. The magnetic coupling eliminates process connections to the switch and insures com-plete isolation from the process. No valves are required to block off the switch from the process to perform any maintenance or operational checks, and since the MS40 is isolated from the process, it does not need to be cleaned. LMS100

LMS200 - Magnetic level gauge switch

The LMS200 consists of two snap action switches operated by a precision actuation mechanism. The actuation mechanism consists of two cams arranged on a spindle assembly. A rod magnet is internally mounted to a spindle assembly in such a way as to cause the spindle to rotate when a magnetic field of proper orientation passes near the switch. A magnetic KM26 float passing by the LMS200 in either the upward or downward direction will cause the switch to change states. After the float has passed, the switch will remain in its respective state until the float passes the switch going in the opposite direction. The action of the switch is break before make. The unique magnetic coupling action eliminates the need for seals, diaphragms, springs, or torque tubes. There is no physical contact between the switch and the process. Magnetic coupling also eliminates the necessity of process connections and insures total isolation from the process.

AT100 Magnetostrictive Level Transmitter

The AT100 is Based Upon the Magnetostrictive Principle. The Sensing Tube Contains a Wire, which is Pulsed at Fixed Time Intervals and the Interaction of the Current Pulse with the Magnetic Field Created by the Magnetic Float. This Causes a Torsional Stress Wave to be Induced in the Wire. This Torsion Propagates Along the Wire at a Known Velocity from the Position of the Magnetic Float and Toward Both Ends of the Wire. A Patented Piezo-Magnetic Sensing Element Placed in the Transmitter Assembly Converts the Received Mechanical Torsion into an Electrical Return Pulse. The Microprocessor-Based Electronics Measures the Elapsed Time Between the Start and Return Pulses and Converts it into a 4-20 mA Output, which is Proportional to the Level Being Measured. LM200 Laser Level Sensor

High performance laser distance level and position sensor The LM200 Laser is a laser-based distance measuring instrument used in process control systems. The on-board microprocessor calculates distance by multiplying the speed of light by the time it takes for a laser pulse to travel from the instrument to a target and back. The measuring laser uses invisible, infrared light. There is a second, visible aiming laser to help with the alignment of the measuring laser. GP50 Vibrating Fork Level Switc

The Model GP50 is a vibrating level switch that detects the absence or presence of dry bulk solids in bins, silos or hoppers. The GP50 provides a contact output indicating a high or low level alarm. Typical Products include lime, styrofoam, fl our and plastic pellets. The GP50 can detect products with densities as low as 1.3 pcf (20 kg/m3). The GP50 is a compact and robust design, suitable for top or side mounting. The constant vibration of the fork tines provides self-cleaning characteristics for products that do not coat or cake. The unique design of the fork and crystal assembly eliminates false level readings. The GP50 sends a signal from the electronic circuitry to excite a patented piezo element in the probe. This causes the fork to vibrate at a frequency of 125 Hz. If the fork is covered by material, the change in vibration is detected by the circuitry which causes the relay to change state after a one second delay. When the fork is free from material, full vibration resumes and the relay reverts to its normal condition. RS85 Vibrating Fork Level Switch

The Resonator utilizes a piezoelectric driven tuning fork that exhibits a large change in resonant frequency when immersed in any liquid. The Model SP60 is a vibrating level switch designed for interface detection of solids in liquids stored in steeping tanks. The SP60 provides a contact output indicating a high or low level alarm. Typical applications include sand, plastic pellets and food products submersed in water. The SP60 is a compact and robust design, suitable for top or side mounting. The constant vibration of the fork tines provides self-cleaning characteristics for products that do not coat or cake. The unique design of the fork and crystal assembly eliminates false level readings. The SP60 sends a signal from the electronic circuitry to excite a patented piezo element in the probe. This causes the fork to vibrate at a frequency of 350 Hz. If the fork is covered by material, the change in vibration is detected by the circuitry which causes the relay to change state after a one second delay. When the fork is free from material, full vibration resumes and the relay reverts to its normal condition. LST400

The LST400 is an Ultrasonic Level Transmitter capable of measuring liquid level or solid applications up to 50 ft. / 15 meters or flow rates in all types of open channel flow applications. The transmitter has a single 4-20 mADC analog output with HART 7 and five (5) relay outputs. A transducer is fitted to the top of a silo or tank, facing down towards the material being measured. The transmitter’s microprocessor simultaneously fires an electronic pulse to the transducer and starts a timer. The transducer converts this electronic pulse to an acoustic pulse, which is directed toward the surface of the material being measured. When the acoustic pulse contacts the surface of the material, energy is reflected back to the transducer, which converts this reflected energy back to an electronic pulse. This pulse is sent back to the microprocessor, which stops the timer and determines the “time of flight” of the signal. By combining the speed of sound through air and the “time of flight” of the pulse, the microprocessor accurately determines the level of the product. The Chute Master works on the non-contact principle of microwave energy. This microwave emits an average power density of less than 0.05 mW/ cm2. SoliTrak Specialty Level Switch

The SoliTrak™ is an electro-mechanic level measuring instrument for the continuous measuring of level in hoppers, silos or tanks. This top mounted system is used for monitoring the level in applications such as powders, small grain bulk materials or coarse grain bulk materials. A bob weight is mounted at the end of a measuring rope or tape, which is wrapped on a motor driven rope roller. Upon contact with the bulk material, the bob weight returns and is drawn back to its upper stop position. The housing is divided into two independent chambers (the rope chamber and the electronic chamber, seen below), which are sealed to each other to isolate electronics from the process. Only the rope chamber is in contact to the inside of the silo during the measurement. If the bob weight is in the upper stop position, it seals the opening between the unit and the silo. In the event of power failure with the relay energized, the PP10 unit will revert back to proper operation after one cycle of the level limit switches.
